Who we are

Fleet Facts (getfleetfacts.com) is operated by Consultera LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as Fleet Facts ("Fleet Facts", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. Contact: support@getfleetfacts.com.

Information we collect

Account information: your name, work e-mail, phone number, company name, job title and password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider).

Customer data: the companies, contacts, notes, activities, tasks, opportunities, files and imports you and your team enter. You own this data; we process it on your behalf to provide the service.

Billing information: plan, billing e-mail and payment status. Card numbers are collected and stored by Stripe, never by us.

Usage and device information: pages used, actions taken, IP address, browser type and error logs, used to run, secure and improve the service. On our website we count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.

Public business data in the service

The service includes information about commercial motor carriers and businesses compiled from public government records (for example, the U.S. Department of Transportation's FMCSA census and roadside inspection files, NHTSA vehicle data and U.S. Census geography) and, where enabled, licensed providers such as Google Places. This is business information (company names, business addresses and phone numbers, fleet size, inspection results). A business that wants its public listing corrected or hidden in Fleet Facts can e-mail support@getfleetfacts.com.

How we use information

To provide and secure the service, authenticate users, process payments, send service and billing e-mails, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with law. We use aggregated, de-identified usage information to improve the product.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use one customer's data for another customer.

Service providers we share with

We share information only with providers that help us run the service, under contracts that limit their use of it: Vercel (hosting and privacy-friendly visit counts), Supabase (database and sign-in), Stripe (payments), our e-mail provider (transactional e-mail), and — only when your account turns on the related feature — Anthropic (AI assistant), Google Maps Platform (maps and business search), Quo or Twilio (texting), and Salesforce (CRM sync you connect).

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure your session. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and customer data while your subscription is active. After cancellation you can export your data for thirty (30) days; after that we may delete it, except records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons. Backups roll off on their normal schedule.

An account administrator can ask us to delete the account and its data sooner by e-mailing support@getfleetfacts.com.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, each customer's data is isolated with database row-level security, access is limited to people who need it, and card data is handled only by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can view and update your profile in the app, export your company's data, and ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by e-mailing support@getfleetfacts.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws; we will honor them as required.

Children

Fleet Facts is a business service and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date below and, for material changes, notify account administrators by e-mail or in the app before the change takes effect.
